The Regina Police Service has laid a manslaughter charge in the death of Rodney Troy Ruberry.
Josiah Pambrun, 27, was arrested Wednesday; he made his first court appearance Thursday.
Ruberry, 49, was found critically injured in a house in the 4400 block of Dewdney Avenue at about 3:20 p.m., on Jan. 24. He died in hospital about an hour later.
On Jan. 27, investigators determined it was a homicide — the city’s fourth of 2020. Further investigation led to Pambrun’s arrest.
Charges now have been laid in each of the first four homicides of the year in the city.
A 25-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder earlier Thursday in the death of Keesha Cree Bitternose. Her body was found on Jan. 5.
A 17-year-old is facing a second-degree murder charge in connection with the death of Majok Majok on Jan. 24.
And a 25-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 25 death of Isiah Trent Allary.
