Regina police tasered a 46-year-old man armed with a handgun Friday evening.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute on the 800 block of Grey Street at 7:22 p.m. and found a man brandishing a handgun, a media release said.
The suspect refused to follow the officer’s demands to drop the gun and was tasered, according to police.
The 46-year-old was assessed by paramedics at the scene before being transported to detention.
Police have not announced any charges as they continue to investigate.
As is policy, the use of the taser will be reviewed.
