A third man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting Monday on Dewdney Avenue.
As well, warrants have been issued for two other men who also face charges of attempted murder.
Just before 10 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of Dewdney. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Investigators subsequently got a search warrant for a house on Elphinstone Street and found guns and ammunition.
Two men, ages 20 and 33, later were charged with attempted murder. An 18-year-old man also faces weapons and drug charges and the victim of the shooting was charged with assault with a weapon.
After further investigation, the police charged a 27-year-old Regina man with attempted murder. Saskatchewan-wide warrants were issued for a 28-year-old Grenfell man and a 24-year-old Regina man.
