The MacKenzie Art Gallery is once again open to the public.
Like many other businesses, it temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It opened up to gallery members Aug. 7 and to the public on Wednesday.
There are changes to how the gallery will operate to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The new hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays and will no longer be open late on Thursdays.
Masks will be required for anyone who wants to enter the gallery. Extra masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the doors. Wednesday mornings between 10 a.m. and noon will be reserved exclusively for seniors, those who are immunocompromised and their companions.
The Craft Services Café will be closed until further notice and the MacKenzie Gallery Shop will be open alongside the gallery.
There won’t be in-person facilitated group tours of exhibitions, facility rentals or public on-site events of groups with more than 30 people, public strollers are not available for use and public access to the Shumiatcher Theatre will not be allowed at this time.
