After 27 years in business, Laser Quest is saying goodbye and thanks for the memories.
It’s permanently closing a number a locations across North America, including the one in Regina.
“As much as we wanted to reopen, the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting uncertain economic climate have made the continued operation of our location next to impossible,” reads a post that appeared on the Regina Laser Quest’s Facebook page Tuesday.
On March 19, Laser Quest put up a Facebook post saying it was temporarily closing the Regina location — and every other one as well — due to COVID-19.
It posted similar notices until June 19, when it said it would be reopening soon.
That was the last update until Tuesday’s post announcing the closing.
The facility played host to birthday parties, group events and corporate outings during its run on Hesse Bay near the Northgate Mall.
