The Rosthern Hospital reopened for emergency and outpatient services Monday morning.
The facility was closed Sunday after a positive COVID-19 case, according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Associated contact tracing was done within the hospital. The precautionary measures taken after the positive test had an impact on the hospital’s staffing levels and forced its closure.
On Sunday evening, risk assessments and cleaning were done, allowing the hospital to reopen.
