A third Thom Collegiate student has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a media release Tuesday, Regina Public Schools said it had been informed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority that a student had tested positive.
“For safety reasons, potential close contacts from the affected classes are now self-isolating until November 14 and will be continuing their learning remotely,” the school division said. “Thom Collegiate remains open for all other students.”
The SHA is to reach out to any students or staff members who may have been in close contact with the individual who tested positive.
Anyone who shows symptoms is advised to stay home and call HealthLine 811.
The Argyle Street school reported cases previously on Oct. 23 and on Monday.
Earlier Tuesday, the Regina Huda School and Gladys McDonald School announced there had been COVID cases at their respective facilities.
