A classroom at St. Catherine Community School has been closed until Nov. 18 after an adult tested positive for COVID-19.
The Regina Catholic School Division made the announcement Sunday. It didn’t say what role the individual had at the school in the city’s east end.
Students in the classroom in question will be learning remotely until it reopens. All other classrooms at the school are to stay open.
The division said all parents and students in the impacted classroom have been told of the positive result.
“Self- isolation of close contacts is a requirement under the Public Health Order,” the division said in a media release. “Because the entire classroom is involved, Public Health will not be contacting individual parents/guardians of student, visitor, or volunteer contacts in that classroom.”
