Just two days after students returned to Regina schools for in-person learning, some classrooms at Archbishop M.C. O’Neill Catholic High School have been closed after a positive COVID-19 test.
In a media release Tuesday evening, the Regina Catholic School Division said an individual at the school on Argyle Street had tested positive.
“In an abundance of caution, we have closed the impacted classrooms,” the division’s release said. “All parents/guardians in the classrooms have been contacted through email by school staff.
“All other classrooms remain open.”
All schools in Regina moved to remote learning on Dec. 14 and continued for the week before the Christmas break. Students in both school divisions learned from home last week before returning to their schools on Monday.
