We, north of the 49th, get four months of all-Canadian matchups all the time but when the season concludes, the final four division champs will be reseeded.
So we can dream of a Boston-Toronto Stanley Cup final! Or a classic Montreal-Boston final. Yes, you could see Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.
Or, Wheels and I on the Green Zone may never talk to each other again if the Vancouver Canucks face the Vegas Golden Knights for the Cup. The second-round matchup last season was tough enough for our partnership.
Yes, the possibilities of this once-in-a-lifetime season seem endless with the cloud of COVID-19 hanging over everything.
