8:30 – Health Minister Paul Merriman joined Premier Moe this week on a tour of the Regina site at Evraz Place being prepared for mass immunizations. According to Merriman, the province is ready to deliver COVID-19 vaccines on a mass scale, just as soon as an adequate supply of the vaccine is secured. Merriman joins Gormley to tell us more about the preparations for the next phase of our vaccination plan, and the latest on Saskatchewan’s efforts to speed up the procurement process.

12:00 – Bill C-7, which expands access to medical assistance in dying, passed the Senate vote this week, and is headed back to the House of Commons for a final debate. The Senate added five amendments to the bill, including one from Senator Pamela Wallin that allowed those who fear losing mental capacity to leave advance requests for medically-assisted death. Sen. Wallin joins Gormley to tell us more about the bill, and why it’s important for Canadians.
