Two Regina men have been charged in connection with the city’s third murder of 2021.
In separate media releases Tuesday, the Regina Police Service said 54-year-old Charles Wayne Taypotat and 35-year-old Richard Crane had been charged with second-degree murder in the death Sunday of Justin Robert Delorme.
Crane also is facing a charge of attempted murder using a firearm after a second man was identified as the victim of a shooting. Police believe it happened at the same address on Garnet Street where Delorme was found injured.
Delorme, 32, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Taypotat made his first court appearance Monday. Crane was in court Tuesday.
