Cases of COVID-19 have been identified at five Regina schools.
According to media releases from the Regina Catholic School Division, two cases were diagnosed at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School.
“At this time, there is still no transmission within the school, as these two positive cases are in separate day groupings (Group A and Group B),” the division said Sunday. “In an abundance of caution, we have closed the impacted classrooms until March 12.”
All other classrooms are to remain open, though, with classes proceeding as normal Monday.
The board also reported a case at Michael A. Riffel Catholic High School. Classes are to be held Monday following the school’s hybrid schedule, with close contacts of the individual starting remote learning.
Regina Public Schools, meanwhile, reported one case at each of Campbell Collegiate, Dr. L.M. Hanna School and Douglas Park School.
All three schools remain open. Affected students will move to remote learning.
