Starting Tuesday, more Saskatchewan health-care workers will be eligible to book COVID-19 vaccinations.
In a media release, the Saskatchewan Health Authority said “all remaining health-care workers meeting the criteria for Phase 1 eligibility” can call for vaccination appointments starting Tuesday at 8 a.m.
They can call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. Appointments for that group can’t be booked online.

Starting Monday, anyone aged 70 and over was eligible to make appointments online or by phone.
As well, people between the ages of 50 and 69 living in the Northern Administrative District were eligible to call the Vaccine Call Centre to make an appointment. However, they were not able to book online.
The SHA also provided an update on the system, saying more than 51,000 people had made a booking since the system launched Thursday morning. That included 8,279 appointments that had been made Monday as of noon.
The total to date comprised 41,403 appointments that were made online and 9,846 that were booked over the phone.
The SHA reminded people the availability of clinics was dependent on vaccine availability. As well, the current crop of appointments are only for first doses.
