Previously, WHL players were declared ineligible to play NCAA hockey in the U.S.
The City of Regina has released a list of community and recreation centres that will be closing starting Sunday due to new COVID-19 public health measures.
The closures are to remain in effect until April 5, but that is subject to change.
The facilities that are closing include:
City programs and swimming lessons also are being cancelled effective Sunday. Customer accounts are to automatically be credited for future use or refunds.
All leisure passes are suspended until the facilities reopen. Anyone who chooses to cancel their pass will receive a prorated refund.
