Regina police are ramping up COVID tickets stemming from anti-mask rallies.
Officers handed out 16 tickets in the aftermath of a so-called ‘Freedom Rally’ in Victoria Park Saturday.

He posted a photo to social media, proudly posing with his ticket.
A similar protest is planned in Saskatoon Sunday.
Police said in a release that officers will be there and ready to enforce the public health measure.
“While investigations have been focused on organizers and key participants in the past, all those planning to attend should be aware that anyone in violation of the restrictions could face a charge under The Public Health Act,” the release read.
