The RCMP is looking for help from the public after a pair of suspicious fires were set in the RM and community of Caron.
Lyndon Lanwa, a supervisor with the Moose Jaw RCMP, gave details.
“On the early evening of May 4, the Moose Jaw RCMP responded to a fire at a rural property in the RM of Caron,” Lanwa said. “The fire appears to be suspicious in nature. That same evening, we were contacted for a fire within the community of Caron where there was property damaged. There were no injuries.
“The first fire was in an abandoned farmyard where a building and some old vehicles were damaged. The second fire within Caron, there was a car and some motorbikes that were damaged. No one has been charged and we continue to investigate.”
Lanwa said the Mounties are unable to comment as to whether they believe the two are connected.
If you have any information regarding either incident, you’re asked to contact the Moose Jaw RCMP.
