Some questions could be answered Thursday morning around the deadliest COVID-19 outbreak at a Saskatchewan care home.
An outbreak was declared last fall at Parkside Extendicare in Regina and it raged for another two months, sparking more than 200 positive cases and 39 deaths.
The situation got so bad, the Saskatchewan Health Authority came in to take over management of the home.
Allegations have since come out about a lack of personal protective equipment like masks, overcrowded resident rooms, and inconsistent cleaning.
In January, the provincial government asked the Ombudsman to investigate what happened at the home and to figure out why the outbreak got so bad.
The report from that investigation is expected to be released Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
