Regina firefighters had their hands full after getting calls about four different garage fires in a span of less than two days.
On Saturday, crews hosed down one in the 3300 block of Dewdney Avenue, not far from Buffalo Meadows Pool, before fighting a second one in the 1700 block of Regent Street in Glenelm. One person was hurt in that fire and sent to hospital.
Early Monday morning, fire crews responded to two more garage fires.
One was in the 2000 block of St. John Street, before dealing with another one not long after in the 1000 block of Rae Street. Both fires were under control not long after crews arrived.
Deputy Fire Chief Gord Hewitt said Tuesday the Glenelm fire on Saturday that resulted in an injury has been deemed an accident while the other three fires are still under investigation.
Hewitt described the damage to all the garages as “extensive and significant.”

The fire department has responded to multiple blazes in a short window other times throughout the summer.
On June 29, crews dealt with four blazes between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. There were two garage fires and a house fire in the North Central neighbourhood, and a house fire in the Heritage area.
Investigators later determined the house fires had been deliberately set.
The recent garage fires are currently under investigation.
