Fraser Tolmie to resign as mayor Tuesday night

A special city council meeting has been called for Tuesday night where it is expected that Mayor Fraser Tolmie will present his resignation letter.

Tolmie is the Conservative Party nominee for the Moose Jaw – Lake Centre – Lanigan riding and previously expressed that he would resign as mayor once the federal election was called.

The agenda will also address the Acting Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the interim vacancy of the mayor’s office.
