Past the dog days of summer, Regina’s Regent Pool will go to the dogs next month.
The annual Dog Swim will take place on Sun., Sept. 19. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their furry friends to celebrate at the Regent Pool as it closes for the season.
Attendees must register and will cost $10.
Dogs attending must be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, have a valid pet license and be accompanied by their owner. They must also be at least four months old.
Registration opens on Wed., Aug. 25 at 9 a.m., closing Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
Regent Pool’s seasonal opening has been extended for an additional two weeks until Sept. 18. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily starting Sept. 7.

Regina’s other three outdoor pools will remain open through the September long weekend, closing on Mon., Sept. 6.
