Another 158 new cases were reported by the province Thursday, the ninth-straight day of daily case numbers over 100.
Almost two-fifths of new cases are between the ages of 20 and 39.
The province topped 53,000 total cases in the province and recorded two new deaths. Saskatchewan now has more than 1,600 active cases.
A reported 2,455 new vaccine doses have been administered.

A total of 53,004 cases and 50,808 recoveries have been reported in Saskatchewan.
New cases in the province were reported in north central (31), Saskatoon (27), northwest (17), northeast (15), far northeast (14), Regina (11), central west (eight), southeast (eight), far northwest (six), southwest (six), central east (five) and far north central (one).
The two deaths were reported in the south west and south central regions.
Active cases in the province number 1,602.
In hospital, there are 104 COVID-19 patients, including 85 inpatient: Saskatoon (33), north central (17), Regina (12), northwest (eight), south central (five), northeast (four), far northwest (two), southwest (two), central east (one) and central west (one).
Nineteen patients are in intensive care from Saskatoon (10), north central (six) and Regina (three).
As of Thursday, 75 (72 per cent) patients in hospital are not fully vaccinated.
The seven-day average for daily new cases is down by three to 169.
New tests completed in the province number 3,271, with 1,010,233 total tests done in the province.
Vaccination update
A total of 1,466,779 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, with 689,007 residents fully vaccinated.
Of Saskatchewan residents ages 12 and older, 75 per cent have received their first vaccine and 66.5 per cent have received both shots.
