Cases of COVID-19 have been identified at three more Regina schools.
Regina Public Schools said Wednesday it had been informed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority of two positive cases at Henry Janzen School and one case at Thom Collegiate.
On Tuesday, the school division reported a case had been detected at McLurg School.
Cases were announced earlier this week at several other Regina schools and on two school buses.
The division said all people whom the SHA considers to be close contacts of the positive cases will get a letter from the SHA with further direction.
Children aged 11 and under made up roughly 20 per cent of the new COVID cases reported in the province Tuesday.
The provincial government announced 506 new cases, with 101 of those aged 11 and under — the only group that currently isn’t eligible to get a COVID vaccination.
There also were 62 new cases in the 12-to-19 age group, with 57 of those being unvaccinated people.
