After less than a week of flu shots being available in the province, more than 105,000 vaccinations already had been done.
That number represents the shots given as of Monday, according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Influenza vaccines began on Oct. 12 in Saskatchewan.
In comparison, 22,846 COVID-19 vaccines were given in Saskatchewan between in the same six days.
The province has been advocating for residents to receive their flu shots this year as the strain on the health system due to COVID-19 worsens.
This year, residents can receive both their influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations during the same appointment.
