The wheels on Regina Transit’s Jingle Bus will go round and round for three days in December.
On Monday, the City of Regina said the program will operate from Dec. 10 through Dec. 12. It’s the sixth year for the promotion.
Cash fares from transit and paratransit customers on the Jingle Bus, along with all extra coins, will be donated to the Regina and District Food Bank and the Salvation Army of Canada.
In 2019, the Jingle Bus promotion generated $13,380 in donations and sponsorships. The Jingle Bus didn’t run in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City of Regina operates the Jingle Bus with a number of sponsors, including Rawlco Radio.
