Craven Country Thunder will be making its long-awaited return after being cancelled the last two years due to COVID-19.
Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton and Lee Brice will be headlining, while Chad Brownlee will perform at the Thursday night kickoff party taking place on July 14.
Artists such as Mackenzie Porter, Tanya Tucker, Hardy and others will be making an appearance at the four-day festival.
The director of marketing and media relations for Country Thunder Music Festivals, Gerry Krochak, says summer can’t come soon enough.
“It feels great to know that we’re going to be coming home and it’s hard to believe that it will have been three full years between shows,” he said on the Greg Morgan Morning Show.
“These things were out of our control. We did our festivals in the U.S. this year and it felt like something was missing. What was missing was Canada, especially Saskatchewan. We are as excited as the fans are to get back home.”
If you had purchased tickets for the 2021 show, they will be automatically honoured for 2022.
Tickets are on sale as of Tuesday morning, more details can be found by clicking here.
