The Regina Police Service has charged a 31-year-old man with second-degree murder after a body was found outside of a condo complex on Nov. 14.
Abdimalik Dahir Mohamed is the man police say was behind the death of 29-year-old Ahi S. Ebrotie.
Just before 6 a.m. on Nov. 14, police officers responded to the 2100 block of Heseltine Road in the Arcola area after getting reports of a death.
Officers and EMS arrived and found the man’s body, detained potential witnesses and requested additional resources including the coroner, forensic identification, and major crimes unit.
The death investigation was declared a murder investigation on Nov. 16. Mohamed was arrested on Tuesday.
He was to make his first court appearance Wednesday.
