The Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors have been given the all-clear by the WHL.
Those teams were among 15 put on pause by the league on Friday due to COVID-19. Now, the Pats and Warriors as well as the Tri-City Americans have been cleared to resume all team activities.
Regina’s games against the Saskatoon Blades on Friday and Saturday were postponed, as was Tuesday’s game versus the Calgary Hitmen.
The Vancouver Giants, meanwhile, were put on ice by the league after a number of players and staff members exhibited symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Sunday’s game between the Giants and Portland Winterhawks was postponed.
“The health and safety of all WHL participants is the top priority for the WHL,” the league said in a release.
