Three Regina Pats road games that were postponed due to COVID-19 concerns have been rescheduled.
The WHL announced the Pats will visit the Winnipeg Ice on Feb. 15 (to make up a game originally scheduled for this coming Saturday), the Swift Current Broncos on March 7 (in a game originally set for Dec. 31), and Winnipeg on March 20 (to replace a game originally slated for this Sunday).
The Pats’ home-and-home set against the Saskatoon Blades initially set for last Friday and Saturday and road games in Brandon originally scheduled for Jan. 21 and 22 have not yet been rescheduled.
The league also revealed Thursday that all 22 clubs now are eligible to return to action. The Calgary Hitmen, Kamloops Blazers, Prince George Cougars, Vancouver Giants and Victoria Royals all had paused team activities in accordance with WHL COVID-19 protocols.
Eleven other regular-season games have been rescheduled. They are:
Tuesday, Jan. 18: Prince Albert at Edmonton (originally scheduled for this past Tuesday).
Monday, March 14: Swift Current at Prince Albert (originally scheduled for last Saturday).
Tuesday, March 15: Calgary at Winnipeg (originally scheduled for last Saturday); Moose Jaw at Brandon (originally scheduled for March 16).
Wednesday, March 16: Calgary at Brandon (originally scheduled for Jan. 7); Moose Jaw at Winnipeg (originally scheduled for March 15); Prince Albert at Swift Current (originally scheduled for Jan. 7).
Sunday, March 20: Moose Jaw at Medicine Hat (originally scheduled for last Saturday).
Wednesday, March 23: Edmonton at Medicine Hat (originally scheduled for last Sunday); Vancouver at Kamloops (originally scheduled for last Saturday).
Tuesday, March 29: Moose Jaw at Winnipeg (originally scheduled for Jan. 3).
