Three fires Monday led to three arson charges against an 18-year-old Regina woman.
According to a tweet from Regina Police Service Deputy Chief Lorilee Davies, the charges were the result of “heads-up police work” by an RPS officer.

The first fire was in a detached garage in the 1300 block of Garnet Street.
About 2 1/2 hours later, another fire was reported in the 1100 block of Rae Street. Just over an hour later, firefighters dealt with a third fire in the 1000 block of Rae.
Investigators identified a suspect and the 18-year-old woman was located and arrested in the area of Fifth Avenue and Rae Street. She made her first court appearance Tuesday.
