Aquatic athletes were at Saskatoon's Shaw Centre on Saturday meeting young swimmers and divers.
8:30 –The final financial results for the 2021/2022 fiscal year were announced last Friday, which revealed that Saskatchewan’s finances strengthened within that year, with a higher than forecast revenue. Finance Minister Donna Harpauer joins Gormley to discuss these results.

9:30- With delayed flights, long lines, and lost luggage there is no doubt that air travel has been catastrophic for travelers. Steven Seiferling, a Saskatoon local was traveling home from Ottawa on a business trip and tells us the story about how his flight home was delayed for an entire weekend.

10:00 – Ross McKitrick, a professor of economics at the University of Guelph’s recent article in the Financial Post says “It’s been a while since we have heard any ‘climate emergency’ declarations. Now we are hearing about a different emergency, namely soaring fuel prices.” McKitrick joins Gormley to discuss how “junk science has led to junk policies.”

11:00 – Researchers from four different universities including the University of Regina have released “Powered by Twitter? The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan”, which is a report that identifies social media’s central role in the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan. Dr. Brian McQuinn, a professor of politics and international studies at the U of R joins Gormley to discuss the research involved in this report and how it affects our country.
