A woman died Thursday after her bicycle collided with a vehicle, Regina police said.
According to police, the 38-year-old cyclist and a vehicle collided at the intersection of Heseltine Road and Heseltine Gate shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday evening. The rider was critically injured in the accident, police said, and was pronounced dead at a hospital later that night.
“No charges, criminal or Traffic Safety Act have been laid in conjunction with this incident at this time,” police said in a statement.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing, police said, and anyone who has information that could help police was asked to contact the police service or make a tip through Crime Stoppers.
