Regina’s landfill and yard waste depot are set to change their schedules.
The depot, which is located near the landfill, is to stay open until Nov. 5. It will then close until Dec. 26, when it will reopen to allow residents to drop off their real Christmas trees. That program will run until Jan. 31.
Starting Nov. 6, the landfill will operate on winter hours. It will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday and will be closed on Sundays.
That means this coming Sunday is the last Sunday on which residents can take materials to the landfill until spring.
