The Saskatoon Blades continued to roll heading into the WHL Christmas break.
Saskatoon bested their Highway 11 rival on Saturday, beating the Regina Pats 6-1 at the Brandt Centre.
The win marked the ninth straight win for the Blades while the Pats lost their final two games before heading into their own break.
The Blades scored on their first three shots of the game and didn’t look back from there.
Jordan Keller, Aidan De La Gorgendiere, Tanner Molendyk, Brandon Lisowsky, Connor Roulette, and Trevor Wong all scored for Saskatoon (24-5-0-0) in the contest.
Easton Armstrong provided the lone goal for Regina (17-15-1-1).
The Blades are next in action on Dec. 27 against the Prince Albert Raiders in Saskatoon. That will be the Blades’ annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
Regina’s next action will see them host the Brandon Wheat Kings on Dec. 28.
