The Saskatoon Blades got back to their winning ways Saturday.
The Blades, who had a three-game winning streak snapped Friday by the Kamloops Blazers, beat the host Kelowna Rockets 4-2 in WHL action Saturday.
It was Saskatoon’s second of five games during a swing through B.C. The Blades are to visit the Prince George Cougars on Tuesday.
In Kelowna, Jordan Keller scored twice for the Blades, who got a goal and two assists from Jayden Wiens. Conner Roulette also scored for Saskatoon, while Gabriel Szturc had a pair of goals for the Rockets.
Saskatoon netminder Austin Elliott made 16 saves and registered an assist. Talyn Boyko stopped 35 shots in the Kelowna net.
The Blades improved to 34-13-3-1, good for third place in the Eastern Conference. The Rockets (17-30-3-0) are eighth in the Western Conference.
