Police in Meadow Lake are investigating possible gang connections after a gun was fired at a home on Valentine’s Day.
According to police, officers arrived at a residence on Clark Crescent in Meadow Lake shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, and found “multiple holes inside and outside the residence … consistent with a shooting occurring.”
Nobody inside the home reported any injuries, the RCMP said, and no suspects were found despite officers patrolling the area.
“Initial investigation has determined this incident may be gang-related,” the RCMP said in a statement.
Police said a black truck was reported in the area at the time of the shooting, police said, and a black truck believed to be the same vehicle was found abandoned on Sixth Avenue early Wednesday morning.
Anyone with information on the shooting — particularly anyone who captured home surveillance video that may have shown the black truck — was asked to contact the RCMP or make a report through Crime Stoppers.
