Mounties in Elbow are investigating an incident of vandalism … at their own detachment.
According to a media release, the Outlook/Elbow RCMP got a call Sunday about two people spray-painting what police called “vulgar, anti-police statements” on the outside of the Elbow detachment at about 12:30 a.m.
Police said the individuals had their heads and faces covered while tagging the building.
“The Outlook/Elbow detachment was vandalized in a similar way on August 21, 2022,” the police release added. “The investigation into that incident continues.”
Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the photo above or who has information about either incident is asked to call the Elbow RCMP at 306-854-1830 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
