A violent home invasion in Moose Jaw has left a man with minor injures.
On Saturday, Moose Jaw Police received were called to a home after a man had been lunged at with a knife by another man. The victim was able to fight off the man with a shovel before the man fled the scene.
The attacker was known to the victim even though he was wearing a mask. Police arrived at the home shortly after the suspect fled. The victim then provided police with a description of the man which led to his arrest hours later.
The attacker faces various charges including break and enter with the intent to commit assault with a weapon.
The man will appear in court on Monday, July 10, 2023.
