Workplace accident at Brandt facility results in the death of a 26-year-old man

A 26-year-old man is dead following an industrial incident Wednesday afternoon at the Brandt facility located at 76 Lancaster Rd. in Moose Jaw.

Police, fire and EMS responded to a call of an industrial incident with injuries around 12:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, paramedics pronounced the man dead.

Moose Jaw police said the next of kin have been notified and the man’s name won’t be released at this time.

The death is not considered suspicious.

An investigation into the death is ongoing with the Moose Jaw Police Service assisting the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety.
