The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
The Regina Thunder and Saskatoon Hilltops each have their second win of the 2023 PFC campaign.
While on the road in Edmonton, the Thunder easily handled business against the Wildcats, winning 53-14.
The win has the Thunder off to a 2-0 start to keep its regular-season winning streak going. The Thunder was undefeated in both the 2021 and 2022 Prairie Football Conference seasons.
After back-to-back road games, Regina is to have its first home game on Aug. 27 when it hosts the Winnipeg Rifles at Leibel Field.
The Hilltops also improved to 2-0 on Sunday with a 49-0 victory in Winnipeg.
Saskatoon has outscored its opponents 99-2 in its first two games.
The Hilltops are to play host to the Calgary Colts on Aug. 27.
