The Saskatchewan Roughriders celebrated the life and legacy of CFL legend George Reed on Saturday during the team’s game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Prior to the game, Reed’s daughter Georgette was given a moment to address the crowd.
Georgette expressed her gratitude during the heartfelt address.
It was announced that Reed would be given his own section — section 34 in honour of the Rider great’s No. 34.
A video tribute to Reed was also played.

Reed’s No. 34 could be seen in both endzones.
