Jorgen Hus has spent his entire CFL career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and that’s not going to change any time soon.
The CFL club announced on Tuesday that the Saskatoon-born long snapper has been signed to a two-year contract extension.
The six-foot-one, 230-pound Hus has played 131 games for the Green and White, including 21 special teams tackles and a fumble recovery.
Not only has Hus played all of his CFL games with the Riders, but he’s also the longest-serving player on the team, having joined the Roughriders in 2015.

Before joining the Canadian league, Hus had stints in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
According to the team, Hus is considered one of the best in the league at his position, and stats from Pro Football Focus back it up. That organization logged 48 snaps to the punter that were under 0.9 seconds in 2023, which is tied for second in the league.
Hus also recorded no bad snaps on field goal and extra point attempts this season, a feat matched by only one other snapper in the CFL.
