Traffic was closed for a brief period of time while members of the Forensic Identification Unit and investigators attended.
In a media release Monday, police said the investigation had been completed and no charges were being laid and no tickets were being issued. However, police didn’t say exactly what happened in the collision.
“Pedestrians are reminded to always use crosswalks and obey traffic signals when crossing the street,” police said in the release.
The injured man, whom police said was in his 30s, remains in hospital in stable condition.
