Devan Praught has been handed a five-game suspension by the Western Hockey League.
The Swift Current Broncos’ head coach was suspended by the team on Nov. 14 due to an incident that happened in practice the previous day.
An investigation by the WHL and its security network found Praught had violated the WHL Standards of Conduct.
Praught has served three games of the suspension already and has two games left to serve.
Praught was named the Broncos’ head coach in 2022. He previously served as head coach on an interim basis following the departure of Dean Brockman.
