Regina police are investigating a collision that sent one of their cruisers crashing into a house Friday night.
According to police, an officer was responding just before 7:30 p.m., to a call about a vehicle driving dangerously on Rochdale Boulevard and Arnason Street.
A media release said the officer was going north on Broad Street when a driver heading south on Broad Street turned east on Fourth Avenue North.
“There was a minor collision between the two vehicles and the police vehicle came to rest against a residence in the 100 block of Broad Street,” the release said.
The police officer suffered minor injuries in the collision. The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t hurt, nor was anyone in the house.
The release said the cause of the collision is under investigation and charges could be laid. The crash will be reviewed by the Regina Police Service’s Collison Review Board.
