The Saskatchewan Roughriders added some American depth to their roster Monday.
The CFL team announced it had signed offensive linemen Jordan Tucker and Trevor Reid as well as defensive lineman Caleb Sanders.
Tucker was with the Roughriders during training camp and spent a portion of the 2023 season in Saskatchewan.
The 6-foot-6, 340-pounder joined the Riders after a stint with the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers. He signed with the Steelers following four seasons at the University of North Carolina.
The 6-foot-5, 307-pound Reid signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL draft. He attended their rookie camp before going to training camp with the Atlanta Falcons.
He spent three seasons at the University of Louisville after spending two seasons at Georgia Military College.
Sanders, a 6-foot-1, 287-pounder, signed with the Riders in September and played in one game. He recorded two tackles in Saskatchewan’s 38-13 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Oct. 7.
Before signing with the Roughriders, he went to rookie camp with the New York Giants and training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in one pre-season game with the Eagles, recording three tackles.
Sanders spent five seasons at South Dakota State University before embarking on a pro career.
