A man was seriously injured after he was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Regina’s Cathedral neighbourhood.
Regina police officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Avenue and Cameron Street near Holy Rosary Cathedral on Wednesday at around 6:20 p.m.
Police received information at that time that a pedestrian crossing the street had been hit, according to a Regina Police Service release.
An injured man was found at the intersection and received care from paramedics and Regina Fire and Protective Services before he was taken to the hospital with what police described as “serious injuries.”
The driver of the vehicle did not leave the scene, police noted, and officers temporarily blocked eastbound and westbound traffic at the scene to investigate.
N0 charges have been laid, and police are still investigating the collision.
