More than a kilogram of cocaine was seized by Regina police during a drug bust late last week.
According to police, two people — a 34-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman — were arrested Friday at around 2:30 p.m. after officers executed a search warrant on a vehicle and on a house in the east end of Regina.
The two were arrested in the vehicle with the help of the police service’s Tactical Support Team. A search of the vehicle, as well as a house on Michener Drive, found 1,079 grams of cocaine, 66.6 grams of MDMA and cash.
Each of the people was charged with two counts of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime.
They made their first court appearances Monday.
