Regina police are asking for the public’s help as they look for two suspects in a murder that occurred in the city on July 29.
In a release Wednesday, police repeated their request for information on the whereabouts of Daniel (Juma) Drie Atem. They also asked for information about a second suspect they’ve identified, Shedrek Samuel.
Atem is described as having a thin build. He’s 6-foot-3 and around 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Samuel was described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing around 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The men are wanted for first-degree murder in a killing that occurred on July 29 near the General Hospital. They’re both subjects of Canada-wide warrants.
According to police, officers responded just before 2:30 a.m. to the 2100 block of Broad Street for a report of an injured man. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police haven’t released the victim’s name or the nature of his injuries.
