The 2025 Canadian mixed curling championship is coming to Assiniboia in 2025.
The 61st edition of the championship will take place from Nov. 2-8 at the Assiniboia Curling Club, Curling Canada announced on Friday.
Saskatchewan has been a destination for the tournament eight previous times, with Swift Current hosting last year and Prince Albert playing host in 2022.
The winner of the 2025 championship will represent Canada at the 2026 world mixed curling championship, though the dates and location for that event haven’t yet been pinned down.
“The Canadian four-player mixed championship always is an event to remember and we’re excited to see how Assiniboia will embrace it in 2025,” Nolan Thiessen, CEO of Curling Canada, said in a statement.
“It’s a great event in the spirit of curling, but it also produces championship-calibre curling every year and we know fans and players will enjoy the experience late next year.”
